Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These terms govern your use of MyMasjid ("we", "us"), including mymasjid.tv, the administrator dashboard, and each mosque's public page and TV display (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a mosque or organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept them for that mosque.
The Service
MyMasjid lets mosques publish prayer times and Iqama times, events and a TV display slideshow at their own web address. Visitors can view mosque pages without an account.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account can manage several mosques. You may only add mosques you are authorised to manage.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Subscription and billing
- Each mosque requires its own monthly subscription, billed in advance through Stripe in Australian dollars (AUD). The current price is shown on our pricing page and at checkout, before you pay. Taxes may apply depending on where you are.
- A mosque's public page and TV display are available only while its subscription is active.
- Failed payment or cancellation: if a payment fails, or the subscription is cancelled or ends, the mosque's public page and TV display go offline until the subscription is active again. Your data is kept so you can reactivate.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing period, and you may cancel before then.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
Prayer times: please read
Prayer and Iqama times are calculated automatically from the location, calculation method and settings the mosque administrator chooses. The administrator is responsible for choosing settings that are correct for their community and for checking the times shown. Calculated times can differ from local sighting or the practice of your community. Times are provided as a convenience and without any guarantee of accuracy. Mosques should confirm times with their own scholars and community.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload or enter (such as logos, photos, slides and event details). You give us a licence to store, display and distribute it as needed to run the Service, including publicly on your mosque's page and TV display.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- upload or publish unlawful, hateful, defamatory, deceptive or abusive content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
- use the Service to impersonate a mosque or person, or to mislead people;
- attempt to access other users' accounts or data, probe or disrupt the Service, or bypass its limits;
- upload malware or send automated bulk requests that harm the Service;
- use the Service to collect personal information from visitors without their consent.
We may remove content or suspend a mosque or account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or others at risk.
Availability
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. The TV display is designed to keep working from saved data if the internet connection drops, but we cannot guarantee it will work on every device or browser. We may change or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice where we can.
Ending your use
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account and mosque data. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if payment is not made, or if required by law.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify administrators by email or in the dashboard. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
